Micha and Roy will discuss with us the role of irony and humour in their work and their daily life, as well as some anecdotes on cultural clashes in the perception of humour and irony. Under the lively moderation of Dr. Iemmolo an entertaining and fun evening is absolutely guaranteed!

About the speakers:
Micha Lewinsky was born 1972 in Germany and grew up in Switzerland. He is a writer and filmdirector, known for the Swiss movies Sternenberg (2004, movie script) Der Freund (2008), Die Standesbeamtin (2009) and Herr Goldstein (2005). He was awarded the Swiss Film Prize in 2008 for the Best Fiction Film for Der Freund, and the Pardino d’oro at the Locarno Film Festival for Herr Goldstein.

Roy Menachem Markovich, born 1979 in Tel Aviv, is the current resident of message salon embassy. He has repeatedly exhibited at the message salon and won the Prize of The Zurich Art Fair Kunst13. His witty and humorous art, which covers video, performance, sculpture, deals, among other things, with the perception of memory and history in Israeli society.
